Tilman Fertitta is a Houston-based billionaire entrepreneur, chairman and CEO of Landry's, Inc., whose restaurant and entertainment brands include Landry's Seafood House, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. and Saltgrass Steak House; he also owns the NBA's Houston Rockets. He was confirmed by the US Senate as US Ambassador to Italy and San Marino in 2025. The yacht, delivered in 2021 as Boardwalk, was commissioned by Fertitta, who worked closely with interior designer Amy Halffman on its highly customised interior. She was listed for sale publicly for the first time in 2025 with brokerage Y.CO and renamed Boardwalk V after Fertitta took delivery of a new 117-metre Lürssen also called Boardwalk; reporting describes her as still his at the time of listing, and no completed sale is confirmed in the sources reviewed.
