Steven Spielberg is an American film director and producer, one of the most commercially successful filmmakers in history, whose wealth derives from his films and his co-founding of the studios Amblin Entertainment and DreamWorks. Ownership of the 109m Oceanco Seven Seas has not been officially confirmed: shipyard and media announcements named only "her new owner", while industry reporting speculated the yacht belongs to Spielberg, partly because he sold an 86-metre 2010 Oceanco also named Seven Seas to a Canadian billionaire in 2021, fuelling talk that the new vessel is its replacement.
