Barry Diller is an American media executive who served as Chairman and CEO of Fox, Inc. from 1984 to 1992, earlier spent ten years leading Paramount Pictures, and has been Chairman and Senior Executive of IAC/InterActiveCorp since August 1995 and of Expedia since its 2005 spin-off. He is credited with creating the Fox Broadcasting Company and was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 1994. Eos is widely reported by yachting media and encyclopaedic sources to have been commissioned by and to belong to Diller and his wife, fashion designer Diane von Fürstenberg, following delivery from Lürssen in 2006. Ownership of large yachts is customarily held through corporate structures and has not been confirmed by Diller in any registry document reviewed here, so the attribution should be treated as reported rather than officially documented.
