Alfa Nero

Oceanco · 82m Oceanco (Yard No. Y702) · 82 m

Alfa Nero was previously linked to sanctioned Russian fertiliser billionaire Andrey Guryev, who publicly denied owning the vessel; Antigua and Barbuda then seized it as abandoned property, and Guryev's daughter, Yulia Guryeva-Motlokhov, has separately contested the seizure and sale in court. After a lengthy legal saga, the yacht was auctioned by the Antiguan government in July 2024 for about $40 million; court filings and reporting identify the buyer as Turkish businessman Ali Rıza Yıldırım of the Yıldırım Group, who subsequently had the yacht refitted and listed it for resale at a much higher price. Because ownership has been disputed and partly established only through court filings and press reports rather than a public registry entry, it should be treated as reported-but-not-fully-confirmed.
