Reinhold Würth is a German industrialist who joined his father Adolf Würth's small screw and fastener wholesaler as its first employee in 1949 and built it into the Würth Group, a global assembly- and fastening-products distributor with tens of thousands of employees worldwide. He stepped back from day-to-day management in 1994 and remains associated with the company in an honorary/supervisory capacity, and is also a prominent art collector and philanthropist through the Würth foundation and museums. Vibrant Curiosity, built by Oceanco in 2009, is widely reported — including by Wikipedia and superyacht industry sites — to be owned by Würth; as is common for vessels of this size, registered ownership is typically held through a company, and the shipyard and owner have not publicly confirmed the connection.
